Everything starts with a consultation at REFRESH LKN on West Catawba Avenue. Our nurse practitioner will assess your facial structure, ask about your goals, review your medical history, and set expectations that are honest and grounded. In the days leading up to treatment, we’ll ask you to avoid blood thinners, alcohol, and certain supplements like fish oil and vitamin E – all of which can increase bruising. We’ll give you a clear pre-treatment checklist so there are no surprises.

During and After

Each session typically takes thirty to forty-five minutes. The product is mixed with lidocaine for comfort, and we apply topical numbing beforehand. Injection technique matters enormously with SCULPTRA® – precise placement and proper depth are what separate a beautiful, even result from a mediocre one. This is exactly why our practitioner handles every treatment personally.

Afterward, you’ll follow what’s known as the 5-5-5 rule: massage the treated areas for five minutes, five times a day, for five days.
