What to Expect During Treatment

Before Your Session

Every DAXXIFY® treatment at REFRESH LKN starts with a one-on-one consultation with our nurse practitioner. She’ll evaluate your facial anatomy, talk through what you’re hoping to achieve, and review your medical history to make sure DAXXIFY® is safe and appropriate for you. This is the kind of individualized planning we’re known for – your face, your goals, your plan.

In the days before your appointment, we’ll ask you to avoid blood-thinning medications and supplements like aspirin, ibuprofen, fish oil, and vitamin E. Skipping alcohol for 24 hours beforehand also helps minimize bruising. Small steps that make a real difference.

During and After Treatment

The appointment itself is quick – usually 15 to 30 minutes depending on how many areas we’re treating. The number of injection sites varies, but most clients describe the sensation as a brief pinch. No anesthesia needed.

Afterward, we’ll ask you to stay upright for a few hours, avoid touching or rubbing the treated areas, and skip intense workouts for the rest of the day. That’s about it. Most people head right back to their normal routine. You’ll start to notice smoothing within one to two days, with the full effect settling in around day 14. And then you get to enjoy it – for a long time.
