The protein molecules in Dysport® are slightly smaller than those in BOTOX®, which allows for a broader, more natural diffusion across the treatment area. That diffusion pattern is why many clients love Dysport® specifically for larger zones like the forehead — the result tends to look soft and even rather than concentrated at individual injection points. Dysport® also tends to kick in fast, with many clients noticing muscle relaxation within two to three days.

Dysport® is FDA-approved primarily for glabellar lines (those vertical creases between the brows), and it’s a strong choice there. It also works beautifully for forehead lines, crow’s feet, and brow lift injections. One thing to know: units of Dysport® aren’t measured the same way as units of BOTOX® or other wrinkle relaxers — the dosing conversion is something we handle during your consultation, so you never have to do the math. JEUVEAU® Treatments

JEUVEAU® — often nicknamed “newtox” because it was the first new neurotoxin to receive FDA approval in nearly a decade — was designed differently from the others. Where BOTOX®, Dysport®, and DAXXIFY® were originally developed for medical applications and later adapted for aesthetics, JEUVEAU® is purpose-built for cosmetic use. It’s a prabotulinumtoxinA formulation engineered specifically to soften dynamic wrinkles, and that single-minded focus has made it a favorite among clients who like the idea of a product designed from day one for the face.

JEUVEAU® works through the same fundamental mechanism as the others — temporarily blocking the nerve signals that cause muscle contraction — and it’s FDA-approved for moderate to severe glabellar lines. It also performs well on forehead wrinkles, crow’s feet, and brow lift placements. Two reasons clients often choose JEUVEAU® specifically: pricing and ease of entry. DAXXIFY® Treatments

DAXXIFY® is the newest entry in the wrinkle relaxer category, and it’s genuinely different. It’s the first and only FDA-approved neuromodulator powered by a peptide-based formula — traditional neurotoxins use human serum albumin (a blood-derived protein) as a stabilizer, while DAXXIFY® replaces that with a proprietary peptide. Researchers believe this peptide formulation is what gives DAXXIFY® its standout feature: extended duration. In clinical trials, the median duration of results was approximately six months, with some patients seeing results hold for up to nine months — roughly double what you’d expect from BOTOX® or Dysport®.

For busy people, that math is compelling. Instead of three or four maintenance appointments per year, you might only need two. DAXXIFY® is FDA-approved specifically for moderate-to-severe glabellar lines, and our nurse practitioner may also use it for forehead lines based on your anatomy and goals.
